Will You Accept This Green Card?

Reality shows are bringing people together for "love" all the time -- now there's one that's doing it for a real reason: citizenship.

A new show called "Who Wants to Marry a U.S. Citizen" (which may or may not be real), is giving three lucky immigrants the chance to marry a perfectly lovely American for the chance at love, happiness and to live in this country legally.

Take that, Trista and Ryan!

32. Oh my God. (even if I don't believe in god)
What I see in this blog is really sad. I don't know if the reality show is fake, but if the comments are real, well, your xenophobia is worst than the nazi's.
And.. uh, I am Italian, and I can spot the 'Except' in the title too.

(I know about your prejudices about Italian people. Next time I'll say I'm German. You won't notice any difference)

38. Yes! I agree with Bethany...When people like TMZ does not proof-read their posting in the Internet, they make us feel dumb too. It's a big shame because all over the world people assume America does no longer care.

41. And they say gays are a threat to the sanctity of marriage. This is absurd. And an insult to gays and lesbians across the country who are denied a basic, civil right.

42. Makes me want to puke. It's no joke, either. The jackhole doing this show was on Headline News at 5PM ET tonight yappin about it.

43. NO NO NO....TMZ.....WRONG USE OF WORDS.....NOW WE KNOW THERE IS NO EDUCATION IN YOUR LITTLE WORLD. AND EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE NOTICING THAT MORE THAN WHAT THE STORY IS ABOUT.....HOW SAD FOR ALL OF YOU.

44. Hey loskobosco, we have immigration laws and those who break them are criminals, and if you think that is racist, too damned bad. All four of my grandparents came here as immigrants from Italy, and they became American citizens by obeying the immigration laws of this country. This show is an insult to my grandparents and everyone else who follows the immigration laws here to get citizenship. Grow up and saw off that chip on your shoulder.

45. I think it would be funnier if they do a reality show based on how to shoot an illegal inmigrant while crossing the border and one of the minute men can be the host of the show!!!!

And by the way is not fun going to that INS building and wait in line for hours!!!!
